PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – At a hastily called meeting Thursday, the City Council voted to take a more direct role in the ongoing legal fight between the semi-autonomous water utility and the court-appointed administrator who is running it.
Mayor Jimmie Gardner made the proposal, which he described as joining forces with the Prichard Water Works & Sewer Board.
