Mobile man accused of sparking high-speed chase now faces federal gun charge

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A suspected gang member accused of leading sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash on Dauphin Island Parkway now faces a federal firearm charge.

Roderiquez Quinterrion Henderson, 22, of Mobile, is scheduled for an initial appearance Thursday in U.S. District Court on a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Sheriff’s investigators have said Henderson is a member of a street gang that is active in south Mobile.

That gun Henderson is accused of possessing is a loaded Glock handgun that deputies saw him toss out the window during the chase, according to an affidavit filed by an FBI Safe Streets Task Force member…
