Mobile police arrest car theft and attempted burglary suspect

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile police have arrested a man accused in a couple of Thursday afternoon incidents.

According to a Mobile Police Department news release, officers were called to the 7000 block of Three Notch Road just after noon in reference to a stolen car.

When officers arrived, they were told a man had entered the business, taken items without paying for them, and then got into a car that did not belong to him.

The car was unlocked and had the keys in it, and the suspect drove off in it, according to the release.

A few minutes later, the suspect was allegedly seen in the 5200 block of Quimby Drive trying to break into a house that was not his with a crowbar…
