An updated weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 5:51 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 6:30 p.m. for Baldwin County.
Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 5:51 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Myrtle Grove, or over West Pensacola, moving southwest at 15 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
