Alabama shipbuilder receives $1.9 million in tax incentives for $7.8 million expansion

A Coden-based vessel and workboat manufacturer, Master Boat Builders, is receiving nearly $1.9 million in tax incentives to support a $7.8 million expansion and modernization project in Mobile County.

The project includes several key components: a new fabrication shop, a floating drydock to support harbor tug contracts, workforce training initiatives, and various infrastructure improvements.
