State Rep. Barbara Drummond and former Mobile County District Judge Spiro Cheriogotis will face each other in a Sept. 23 runoff to become Mobile’s next mayor.
According to the unofficial results Tuesday, Drummond appears to be the top vote getter by more than 1,600 votes, with Cheriogotis finishing in second. The two survived a four-way contest that also featured former Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine and Mobile County Commissioner Connie Hudson, both who finished in a distant third and fourth place.
