Joshua Brown defeated longtime mayor Bob Wills, who has held the position for 13 years.
This win is allowing Brown to claim his spot in the Bay Minette history books.
“We’ve made some tremendous history,” Brown said. “First black and the youngest mayor. And, it proves that there are some critical-thinking people in Bay Minette who want to move forward and want Bay Minette to be that shining light.”…
