Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals upholds Mobile man’s murder conviction

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals has decided to uphold a Mobile man’s murder conviction.

According to a news release from Attorney General Steve Marshall, 33-year-old Kytwoin Mallory was convicted of murder in March 2024, but he claimed self-defense and wanted to have his conviction either reversed or appealed.

Mallory shot and killed Robbie Blue in April 2021 after an argument broke out in a vehicle.

Blue’s girlfriend was inside the vehicle when the shooting happened, and Mallory eventually let her go…
