BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — According to ALEA, a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4 p.m. Thursday Sept. 4, has claimed the life of a Chickasaw man. Thomas Oliver Swindle Jr., 65, was fatally injured when the 2018 Jeep Cherokee he was a passenger in, left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Swindle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Jeep, Leila M. Clevland, 69, of Selma, was injured and transported to University Hospital in Mobile for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near the 35 mile marker, approximately three miles north of Bay Minette, in Baldwin County…
