MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Class of 2029 at the University of South Alabama is breaking records as the school’s largest freshman class in history.

According to a USA news release, the total enrollment at the school is 14,285, which is 282 more students than in 2024. This year, there are 2,137 new first-year students.
University administrators said there has been a 30% increase in freshman enrollment over the past three years.
