Daphne man sentenced for drug trafficking, possession

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Daphne man has been sentenced on charges related to drug trafficking and possession.

According to a release from the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Alabama, Robert Keith Corte, Jr., 35, has been sentenced to 90 months in prison for a methamphetamine-trafficking conspiracy and possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute it.

Corte was found to be selling methamphetamine to informants three separate times in Baldwin County in September and October 2023, the release said.

Narcotics agents searched Corte’s home on a search warrant on Oct. 16, 2023, and found more than 185 grams of methamphetamine. Corte admitted the drugs belonged to him and had recently traveled to Pensacola to get the drugs to be sold in Baldwin County…
