Baldwin County murder update: suspect found guilty

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A woman has been found guilty of murder in Baldwin County, News 5 has learned.

According to a Facebook post from the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office, a jury found Tahjaneka Armstrong guilty of the murder of Alemcy Saint Louis.

The murder occurred at a mobile home in Bon Secour on Sept. 15, 2023. BCSO responded to the shooting. When investigators arrived, they found a 30-year-old man deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

With the assistance of a Creole translator, many witnesses of Haitian descent provided eyewitness testimony in court.

Investigator Phil Sturm with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office led the initial investigation while Senior Trial Attorney Patrick Doggett and ADA Samantha Breland-Mullinix prosecuted.
