MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man who allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart has been arrested, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to the Walmart at 685 Schillinger Road S., in reference to a retail theft in progress.
When officers arrived, they detained James Satterfield, who they were told had concealed approximately $750 in merchandise that he had not paid for.
The 41-year-old Mobile man was arrested and charged with second-degree retail theft.
