Mobile County crash leaves one dead, investigation underway

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A person is dead after a Saturday morning vehicle crash in Mobile County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash occurred around 1:49 a.m. Sept. 13 on Bellingrath Road near Delchamps Road, according to an ALEA news release. This location is about 9 miles south of Mobile city limits.

A 2012 Cadillac SRX “left the roadway, struck a tree, caught fire, and became totally engulfed in flames,” the release said…
