Gunfire hits vehicle in Mobile, no injuries reported

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officials are investigating weekend gunfire that allegedly hit a vehicle.

Officers responded to the 900 block of South Dearborn Street around 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, for a report of shots fired, according to an MPD news release.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle was struck by gunfire, but no injuries were reported,” the release said.

“Upon further investigation, officers discovered a known male subject fired a shot at a vehicle, driven by a known female victim, following an argument.”
