MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A traffic enforcement operation Saturday in downtown Mobile resulted in two arrests and the issuance of 84 tickets, the Mobile Police Department said.
The operation was conducted Saturday, Sept. 13, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. in and around the Central Precinct and aimed at ensuring that drivers were in compliance with state and local traffic laws, MPD said.
Officers checked for valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and current vehicle tag registration.
