Spanish Fort considering beaver, coyote removal

sp — The Spanish Fort City Council is considering a contract with federal authorities to remove beavers, coyotes, nutria and muskrats for $4,000.

The agreement between the city and The United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) calls for those species to be trapped and removed.

Spanish Fort leaders will vote on the contract at their next meeting on October 6, 2025…
