Mobile man arrested, charged with robbery

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man has been arrested in connection with a Monday robbery on Schillinger Road, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Wednesday, officers arrested Trayon Lett Jr., 30, of Mobile and charged him with first-degree robbery, according to an MPD news release.

Officers responded to the intersection of Schillinger Road South and Flint Ridge Road at about 4:30 p.m. Monday in response to a robbery.

When they arrived, the victim told officers that a man he knew had produced a weapon and demanded his property while in the victim’s car, the release said.
