Teens accused of shoplifting at Mobile Walmart

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers have arrested two 18-year-olds accused of stealing merchandise from a local Walmart.

According to an MPD news release, an officer was on duty at the Walmart Super Center on the East I-65 Service Road around 4 p.m. on Sept. 18 when an employee alerted him about an alleged shoplifting incident.

The two suspects, now identified as 18-year-old Alyssa Newman and 18-year-old Chyna Robinson, both from Pensacola, are accused of trying to hide items and steal them from the store.
