Handcuffs or Casket: Mobile Co. Sheriff warns gang members of grim futures

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old known gang member brazenly shot out of the back window at deputies during a chase Friday afternoon. Deputies say a 13-year-old was driving the stolen car. Four teens all face charges. Sheriff Paul Burch did not mince words. He warns those in gangs either end up in handcuffs or in a casket.

“My message to some of these fools is that there’s no good outcome,” said Burch.
