Car break-in reported at Mobile business

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile police responded to a report of a car break-in at a local business, according to a news release.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to America’s Thrift Store at 5441 Highway 90 at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a vehicle burglary.

When officers arrived, the owner of the car told them that while her car was parked at the location, a man had illegally gone into her car and taken personal objects. Some of those objects were found and returned to the owner.

Donovan Williams, 30, of Mobile, was arrested and charged with unlawful breaking and entering. He was taken to Metro Jail, where he is awaiting a bond hearing…
