Foley Police respond to “overdose emergency”

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Foley Police are investigating what’s being described as an “overdose emergency” at a gas station. It happened Saturday morning at the Circle K on Highway 59 near Azalea Avenue.

Police tape lined the parking lot of the gas station outside the convenience store. A number of Foley Police cruisers were on the scene. Police say they were called there for an “apparent overdose-related emergency.” They say the people involved were transported for treatment, and there is no threat to the public.

Police say the case is under investigation. Police didn’t say what substance may have been used or how badly anyone may have been hurt…
