MFRD responds to hazmat incident

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department responded to the scene of a hazardous materials spill at APM Terminals on Ezra Trice Boulevard this afternoon.

A 20-foot container leaked disulfide, according to Blake Brown, public affairs manager for the city of Mobile Public Safety. Two people were taken to a local hospital after being exposed, he said.

No evacuations have been issued, he said…
