MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers are investigating a robbery involving an assault, News 5 has learned.
Extra security added at Mobile bar after deadly shooting
According to MPD officials, their officers were called to the area of Oak Ridge Avenue and Nevius Road around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 for a report of a robbery.
When they arrived, officers found that a woman was riding in a car with a man she knew when he demanded her personal belongings.
The woman refused to give the man her things, which is when he allegedly assaulted her and took her out of the car.
