Mobile’s South Thigpen Drive to close for study

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A portion of South Thigpen Drive will close next week as a traffic study is conducted, according to the City of Mobile.

According to a city news release, South Thigpen Drive, between Demetropolis Road and East Thigpen Drive, will be closed beginning Tuesday, Oct. 14, as part of a traffic study.

The closure will remain in effect for about two weeks, ending on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

During that time, drivers will still have access to Cottage Hill Baptist Church and Cottage Hill Christian Academy.
