MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A second suspect in a shooting that injured two men and damaged four vehicles, including a police vehicle, has surrendered, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Derrick Williams-McGlasker, 22, of Mobile, turned himself in at the Mobile County Metro Jail Monday afternoon, police said.
Another suspect, 19-year-old Akil Pleasant, was arrested on Sept. 5 in connection with the Aug. 31 shooting that left two people wounded.
According to investigators, an altercation between some men broke out in the roadway in the 1600 block of St. Stephens Road. Shots were fired and two men suffered injuries. Both were taken to the hospital, authorities said…
