Housing Authority of the City of Prichard launches Blanket Drive

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – As temperatures begin to drop, the Housing Authority of the City of Prichard (HACP) is launching a compassionate initiative to ensure no resident faces the cold alone. The HACP Blanket Drive, running from October 1st to October 31st, aims to collect new blankets of all sizes to distribute to individuals and families in need throughout the Prichard community.

“This drive is about more than just warmth,” said Kimberly Levingston, Chief Executive Officer of HACP. “It’s about dignity, compassion, and the power of community. A simple blanket can bring comfort and hope to someone facing hardship this winter.
