Mobile City Council expected to vote on anti-blight proposal

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile City Council may vote on Mayor Sandy Stimpson’s anti-blight proposal tomorrow.

The proposal would require property owners to register downtown commercial properties that have been vacant for at least six months. New requirements would include securing entrances and installing fire alarms.
