MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood said Thursday that prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty against a man accused of murdering his estranged, pregnant girlfriend in front of their infant child.
Blackwood said prosecutors also are adding a fourth capital murder count against David Terrell Smith – intentional killing of a witness in a judicial proceeding. Blackwood said that relates to a child support case that victim Amiayia White initiated in June.
