MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A resolution is set to be introduced to the Mobile City Council Tuesday that would pave the way for almost $12,000 in furniture and other equipment to be bought for the new Mobile Arena.
The resolution, sponsored by Mayor Sandy Stimpson, would establish and fund a capital project account to manage and perform the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for the new Mobile Arena concurrently with the arena construction.
The resolution says the purchase of furniture, fixtures, and equipment will be coordinated through the city’s purchasing department and facilitated by Volkert, Inc. as part of the existing arena project…
