MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A female was injured during a Tuesday evening assault, and the suspect is behind bars, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to Spanish Oak Apartments, 6232 Spanish Trail Drive, at about 6:20 p.m., in reference to a disorderly complaint.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found a female with injuries. She was taken to the hospital.
