Driver dies after truck and train crash in Satsuma

SATSUMA, Ala. (WKRG) — A man who was injured when his truck collided with a train Friday evening has died, according to the Satsuma Police Department.

William Huntley of Oklahoma, who was driving the truck, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

According to an SPD news release, officers responded to a call about a vehicle that had been hit by a train at about 10 p.m. Friday. The collision happened at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Highway 43 in Satsuma.

Emergency responders from the Satsuma Police Department, Satsuma Fire Department and Mobile County EMS worked the scene.
