MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The longtime project to relocate the city’s airport is nearing the finish line, with a big milestone looming Thursday and a completion date projected a year from now.
Just be mindful of the date if you fly during the transition.
Andy Wilson, the executive director of the Mobile Airport Authority, said the transition from Mobile Regional to the new Mobile International Airport near downtown will happen all at once.
