MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — In November 2022, Herman Lambeth was convicted of felony DUI and sentenced to five years in prison, split to time served with the remainder to serve on probation. The Loxley man later violated probation when he was charged with another DUI. In May 2024, a judge sentenced him to two years in prison for the new felony DUI and ordered him to also serve the remainder of his original five-year sentence. It’s unclear how much times he actually served behind bars, but by September 15th, 2025, he was cited by the Calera Police Department for driving with a revoked license and possessing an open container of alcohol.
“This person has been given every opportunity that the system has to offer someone, he’s been given a split sentence, he’s been given probation, he’s been given time served. He’s just been given and given, and he continues to offend. So, at what point do you say enough is enough? There’s no more chances for you,” said Wanda Miller, Executive Director of Victims of Crime and Leniency.
The ticket in Calera prompted officials to revoke his probation again and issue and arrest warrant. On November 7th, Daphne Police say they found him in a car “obviously very impaired” and arrested him for DUI. Daphne Police say it’s the 55-year-old’s 14th DUI charge since 2006…
