Phase Two Moves Ahead at County Road 65 and 12 Intersection

Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — The Baldwin County Highway Department will start the second phase of intersection improvements at County Road 65 and County Road 12 next month. The project includes adding new left-turn lanes on County Road 12 and replacing the temporary traffic signal with a permanent storm-resilient mast-arm system. This work represents the final phase of a comprehensive effort to improve safety and traffic flow at the busy intersection. The improvements are part of Baldwin County’s ongoing commitment to enhancing roadway infrastructure throughout the area.

Phase II of the project is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2025. Construction is expected to be fully complete by spring 2026. The Baldwin County Highway Department plans to share updates as work progresses.

The second phase follows the earlier completion of Phase I, which added turn lanes on County Road 65 and installed a temporary traffic signal.
