MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Dozens of kids got to experience the joy of fishing at Tricentennial Park, for the City of Mobile’s “My wish is to catch a fish” event.
On Saturday, members of the City Parks and Recreation Department put together a morning of recreation and conservation. Kids got fishing rods and guidance on fishing techniques.
People learned how to bait a hook, cast a line and fish safely with other people around.
