CITRONELLE, Ala. (WPMI) — This Thanksgiving, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation[/] is honoring the service and sacrifice of U.S. Army Sergeant First Class (SFC) Casey Callister by paying off the mortgage on his Citronelle home and unveiling major renovations designed to restore his independence.
Surrounded by members of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, friends, and family, U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Casey Callister cut a ceremonial ribbon outside of his home, marking a new chapter for his family.
“This is truly peace of mind for me,” said SFC Callister. “I used to have all these micro-fears — not being able to help my kids if my wife is out or get where I needed to be in my home. Now I know I can be there for them. And no matter what happens in the future, my kids will always have a home.”…
