PRICHARD, Ala. (NBC 15) — Water bubbles out of the ground next to St. Stephens Road, flows down the street and around the corner into Jessie Reid’s parking lot on Shelton Beach Road. The Prichard business owner says the leak has been there for years and has only gotten worse in recent months. He says there is a steady flow of water seeping out 24/7, despite notifying Prichard Water Works & Sewer Board multiple times about the problem.
“It’s been running for three months,” said Reid.
Reid says it’s creating issues on his property. The corner of the car lot is always muddy, making it hard to cut the grass, but he says the big potholes the water leak caused are the real problem…
