MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – With Thanksgiving just a day away, one local family was giving back to the community with an annual tradition.
The Martin family distributed fresh collard greens in the Trinity Gardens community. The Martins say this is a heartwarming experience for the family that has been doing this for generations.
“It’s not just the greens itself. It’s the fact that all that comes with it of course the preparation of the cooking,” said Lorenzo Martin Sr. “This is just a blessing for us to be able to share and constantly remind us that we should be thankful for everything that we have and that we should share what we do have.”…
