MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man arrested in connection with a 2022 Prichard murder has pleaded guilty to felony murder.

Justin Morrissette withdrew his previous plea of not guilty and submitted a guilty plea for the murder of Justin Battiste.
He received a sentence of 20 years for the crime, which took place on Jan. 26, 2022, outside of Hart’s Fried Chicken in Prichard. Police say the incident was a robbery turned murder.
Morrissette will receive credit for time served and must pay a $750 bond fee, a $50 fee to the Victim’s Compensation Assessment Fund, and court costs…
