MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine, according to the United States Department of Justice.

Charlie Alexander Hall, 26, was accused of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine after he reportedly agreed to sell undercover agents about 8.5 ounces of methamphetamine for $2,000 in May 2024.

According to court documents, officers were watching Hall at his home in Semmes when they saw him put a 5-gallon bucket of methamphetamine in his car. The officers followed him after he left and attempted to stop him for a traffic violation.

Instead, Hall reportedly sped up, driving through a residential area at speeds of more than 100 mph. During that time, he threw the 5-gallon bucket out of the car. The bucket opened when it hit the ground and spilled methamphetamine across the road…
