MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A federal judge sentenced a Semmes man to 14 years in prison in a methamphetamine trafficking case.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Jeffrey U. Beaverstock on Monday handed down a 168 month sentence to Charlie Hall for conspiracy to traffic meth, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Alabama announced today.
The charge stemmed from an incident in May 2024 after Hall agreed to sell about 8.5 ounces of meth to undercover agents for $2,000.
According to court documents, law enforcement had Hall’s home under surveillance and saw him put into his vehicle a 5-gallon bucket of meth that he intended to sell. When Hall left his home, authorities said they tried to stop him for a traffic violated, but he sped away.
