PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — Rain couldn’t stop the City of Prichard from officially lighting its Christmas tree on Friday night.
The city held its 23rd annual Tree Lighting Celebration, moving the event inside the Prichard City Hall Auditorium, but the weather didn’t slow down the holiday spirit!
Founder of the Prichard Organizational Committee, George E. McCall Jr., said this year’s event was bigger than ever, with nearly two months of planning going into making the night special.
