Judge sets $100,000 bond for USA apartment shooting suspect

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The man accused of shooting someone during a drug deal at an apartment complex on USA’s campus was given a $100,000 bond.

Court records say the victim was meeting 19-year-old Christian Love to buy marijuana last month. Police say Love shot the victim during the transaction.

Love turned himself in and was booked into Metro this week. He’s facing assault and robbery charges.

During today’s hearing, the judge also banned Love from USA’s campus. He also can’t contact the victim or have a gun. He’s due back in court for an arraignment on Tuesday…
