MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Continued high prices are driving more people to look for help in any way they can. The carline stretches well around the block at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Mobile for their quarterly food distribution.
“It’s is very important because, especially now, we really started an uptick with COVID. But as everything else continued, the price of groceries and that sort of thing, we decided to continue the program,” said Outreach Coordinator Betty Turner. No matter what time of year this church does one of their food distributions, it always seems to draw a crowd.
