PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – The court-appointed receiver running for the Prichard Water Works & Sewer Board is set to give an update Monday, Dec. 8, on his ongoing efforts to turn around the troubled utility.
The United Concerned Citizens of Prichard will host the town hall meeting at 4:30 p.m. at Sunlight District Auditorium, 809 E. Seminary Street in Prichard.
John S. Young Jr. will be on hand to talk about his efforts to persuade the Mobile Area Water and Sewer System to take over the troubled Prichard water system. Young made that recommendation more than a year ago, but MAWSS has yet to approve or reject it…
