Auburn Beats Baldwin Cities As Alabama’s “Boom Town”

For the past few years the City of Foley has held distinction for it’s percentage of growth and new businesses. A new report states Auburn is now Alabama’s “Boom Town.” According to Go Banking Rates, the city on the plains has surpassed other Alabama towns in growth and per capita income.

Using the 5-year 2023 and 2015 U.S. Census American Community Survey, GOBankingRates analyzed cities with total populations between 25,000 and 500,000. (Hawaii’s locations are considered Census Designated Places and weren’t used in this study.)
