MAWSS “Easy to be Ungreasy” campaign

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The ‘Easy to Be Ungreasy’ campaign has served the community for more than two decades, educating residents on proper fats, oils, and grease (FOG) disposal.

In the Deep South, all things deep fried lead to a whole lot of grease. And then the big question – where does it all go? Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS) hopes it won’t go down the drain and has been convincing customers that “It’s Easy to be Ungreasy,” with MAWSS’ residential cooking grease recycling program for more than two decades.
