TUSCALOOSA, Ala (WIAT) – An Alabama state agency is providing financial assistance to complete the final step in connecting Mobile and Tuscaloosa with a four-lane highway.
The Alabama Highway Authority issued $730 million in bonds to cover expansion costs on portions of Highway 69 in Hale County, according to the state’s finance department.
