MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The spirit of giving is shining bright along the Gulf Coast as WKRG News 5 teams up once again with community partners for the Magical Christmas Toy Drive.
Today, News 5’s Drexel Gilbert and Clancy Callahan joined our friends Renee Ellis, Tabitha Baxter, Grayson Kneeppel, Anthony Seymour, Susan Bruner, Ram Nah and Mike Dennis from Lamar Advertising for a special holiday shopping spree at the Walmart in Midtown Mobile and . Together, baskets were filled with dolls, trucks, games, and gifts — all carefully chosen to bring joy to local children this Christmas season.
The Magical Christmas Toy Drive helps ensure that families across our area experience hope and holiday cheer. With the support of generous partners like Lamar, thousands of new toys are collected each year for children right here on the Gulf Coast.
How You Can Help
If you want to join in the holiday giving, drop off new, unwrapped toys at any Lamar Advertising location. Donations are accepted through Friday, Dec. 12. Every toy donated helps brighten a child’s Christmas and support families in need during this special time of year.
